Position OverviewWe’re seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to take on a leadership role focused on driving sales performance and team development across our two office locations. This individual will act as the Sales Manager, overseeing all sales operations, financial services production, and lead management efforts. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, natural coach, and highly organized leader who thrives on helping others succeed and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive Financial Services production for the sales team
  • Oversee all sales operations, coaching team members on sales processes, ECRM workflows, and performance improvement
  • Identify and maximize IPS opportunities for the Agent
  • Plan and execute Annual Business Planning and Fall Planning meetings
  • Develop and manage monthly and quarterly sales promotions, coaching team members through completion
  • Conduct daily prioritization meetings and weekly sales meetings
  • Manage lead distribution, State-to-State transfers, and outside marketing initiatives
  • Conduct real-time coaching and training sessions with sales team members for efficiency and upselling
  • Provide targeted spot training for low to mid-performing team members
  • Participate in or lead new customer, IFR, and financial service appointments as needed
  • Collaborate with lead providers to ensure maximum efficiency and budget optimization
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with all State Farm standards and procedures
  • Maintain and coach to the “Trophy Club” Quote & Onboarding Checklist and 5-Step Sales Process
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation (FORM/AFLH notes, ECRM entries, DSS setup, onboarding cases, etc.)
  • Hold team members accountable for individual goals and overall office production metrics
  • Coordinate and lead team development activities, including book clubs and professional development meetings
  • Recognize team achievements and maintain a strong, positive culture through thank-yous, celebrations, and ongoing motivation
  • Hire, train, onboard, and develop new sales staff as needed
  • Clear and respond to office voicemails daily
  • Plan and manage team member marketing budgets and lead-generating events
Performance Expectations
  • 15+ 5-Star Google Reviews per office per month generated by the Sales Team
  • Consistent daily completion of Sales List View 2, List View 3, and “Action Needed” Cases
  • All SF Connect items responded to and cleared daily
  • Achieve SIE/Series 6/63 Certification by 12/31/2026
  • Achieve Humana Certification by 12/31/2026
Qualifications
  • Prior leadership or sales management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and hold others accountable
  • Familiarity with insurance sales processes and ECRM systems is a plus
  • Must be willing to split time between Frankfort and Danville offices weekly
Compensation $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
